Almond flour or almond meal is great for baking and cooking and brings the health benefits of almonds to your diet whilst simutaneously reducing your carbohydrate consumption. Replacing a portion of your baking with almond meal (instead of flour) reduces your total carbohydrates and adds a wonderful texture.

Almond meal is also a great replacement for bread crumbs when cooking.

NOTE: Always refigerate almond flour in order to retain its freshness or keep frozen.
